About The Artist:

• Although an engineer by profession, Shri Surjit Singh is a passionate painter. He graduated in mathematics from Govt. College, Ludhiana and took his mechanical engineering degree from Thapar College of Engineering Patiala, He has held exhibitions in ten different cities of U.K. On of his paintings was highly commended in an exhibition in Oslo Norway. Although good at oils, his real forte is water color and pastels. He has also held exhibitions in Patiala, Jalandhar and Chandigarh.

• His Profound love for Himalayan landscape is clearly reflected in his work where he depicts rural life.
